Mark 14:3-11 New International Version (NIV)

While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages[a] and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly.

“Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you,[b]and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

10 Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them. 11 They were delighted to hear this and promised to give him money. So he watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

Mary Sister of Lazarus did what she could to JESUS.

We must do good deeds base on our ability, GOD does not expected us to give what we don't have but what we have.

We use to know our limitation, Why? because if we don't know our limitation we discourage if we can't help others.

2 Corinthians 8:12 New International Version (NIV)

12 For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

GOD won't judge us for what we give but rather what we have to give, GOD do not expected what beyond our abilities.

Matthew 25:14-15 New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Bags of Gold

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

We must not hide our abilities

GOD gave us each according to our abilities ,and GOD expected us to use that abilities not hide for HIS glory.

Acts 9:36-38 New International Version (NIV)

36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor. 37 About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room. 38 Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, “Please come at once!”

We must use our Abilities no matter how small

Like Dorcas he took care the widows, She gave what she have even in small things,She sewing their robes (widows)

1 Peter 4:7 New International Version (NIV)

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

To GOD be all the Glory
