Gen 11:1-9

The Tower of Babel

11 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar b] and settled there.

They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel[c]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

In our life we have a lot of plans maybe same as Tower of Babel to high. We do necessary things to get our plans be succeed and also we pray for our plans too, Like people in the story we read they prepared bricks and other things needed to build the Tower, but God did not allowed it to finished, same us our plans, some our plan s granted but some are not. In this case we feel not good because everything we did and we pray for it but GOD doesn't allowed it to happened and we ask GOD why?,Why GOD did not allowed it happen because GOD has a better plan for us.GOD revealed HIS plan when we are broken and when we saw his plan we feel in awe and we say thank you because GOD plan is better than our plan, and GOD want's us to be humble and have humility in our heart.HE know the best for us, HE us just to obeyed and wait for the perfect time. To GOD be the glory.
